Is there a difference between playing in the browser and in the app?
Both connect to the same cloud PC, at the same price. The browser needs no install and works from any computer. We recommend the app for the highest picture settings and long PK sessions.
Does the client close if I turn off my PC?
No. The client runs on the cloud PC you rent. It stays on for the whole rental even if you close the tab, the app or your PC.
How is this different from a VDS or VPS?
With a VDS or VPS you get an empty server and set up the game and the connection yourself. With KO Client there is nothing to install. Knight Online opens ready on the cloud PC you rent and streams to your screen. The PC is deleted when the time ends, so every rental starts fresh.
Can I use Koxp, bots or modified TBL files?
No. Only the official game runs on the cloud PC. Koxp, bots, macro programs and TBL edits are not possible. You use the game's own features, such as Genie.
How does a friend join my stream?
You create an invite code and send it. You decide whether they only watch or control the character, and you can remove them at any time. Only you are charged.
What happens if my internet drops?
The client keeps running. You reconnect when your connection returns. On a weak connection only the picture you receive drops in quality.
How does payment work?
You add balance. The price of the period you pick is deducted from it at the start of each period. Turn on auto-renew and the rental extends by itself. No subscription and no commitment.
Which devices can I connect from?
From any computer in the browser, macOS included. The desktop app is ready for Windows and Linux, and macOS is in the works.
