Your merchant sells only while the client stays on. Turn off your PC, or lose power or internet, and the merchant closes too. With KO Client the client runs on the cloud PC you rent, so your merchant stays open even when you are away.
Setting up your merchant on a cloud PC
You set up the merchant inside the game as usual. The difference is that the client runs in a data centre, not on your PC.
- Rent a cloud PC and sign in to Knight Online with your own account.
- Set up your merchant as usual.
- Close the tab or the app. The client stays on for the whole rental.
Check your merchant during the day
Open play.koclient.com in your browser to see what has sold. Nothing to install, so it works from a work or school computer too, macOS included.
If the power or internet goes out
The client runs in a data centre, so an outage at home does not affect it. Reconnect when you are back online. The merchant stays open in the meantime.
Which client is enough
The No Graphics Card client is enough for a merchant and is the most affordable option. Rent by the hour, day, week or month. Turn on auto-renew and the rental extends by itself. No subscription or commitment.
